We are so glad that you want to come visit us on Sunday morning. We know that coming to a new church can be overwhelming. When you arrive to our church walk into our sanctuary doors and you will find our coffee cafe. Feel free to grab a doughnut and have some coffee and sit anywhere you would like in the church.

We at Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene, want to be a blessing to those around us, and when you come to our church we want you to feel at home! our services begin with worship, if you have kids you may send your kids to Children's Church after worship, and then we have a sermon and a final song to close out our time. all together church is about 75 minutes usually.

Children's Ministry

At the very heart of Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene is a deep love for the next generation. Our Kids equips kids & students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who act out their faith and reach the lost. Where are you located?

2200 Sunrise Ave, Modesto CA 95350. The nearest cross street is Charles Ave. There are other churches named Cornerstone Community churche, but if you search "Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene" we should pop up in google maps.

What time is service?

Service is Sunday mornings at 10:30AM and typically ends at the latest at 12PM. We welcome you to come early for coffee and doughnuts!

Do I have to dress up?

We never expect anyone to "dress a certain way". Our pastor often is wearing slides and jeans. We want all people to come as they are and connect authentically.

Is there something for my kids?

We are a church that wants to provide a space for kids to learn things that apply easily to their day to day life at a level that is easy to understand. So after the music, we invite kids to go to children's church but if you want your kids to stay with you this is perfectly okay too.

What does service look like?

We love our Sunday morning service! we typically will enjoy modern musical worship with songs that also are relevant to a diverse group of ages and backgrounds. We have a time of prayer and then dive into our message for the day and end with a time of reflection. Some people like to stand and sing, and some people like to sit and reflect, and some people do both!

What is "Church of the Nazarene"?

Denominations can be confusing. Many people in our church (and even our pastor) come from different backgrounds from "non denominational" to "non religious". We believe in the basic core principals of Christian faith and our worship services are seeker friendly, you do not have to "be a member" or "make a commitment" to attend. The "Church of the Nazarene" is the denomination that our church is a part of and we serve together in global missions and have gatherings with other "church of the Nazarene" churches in our area.
